Marvin Louis Platt died of COVID-19 on April 10, 2020. He was 93. Marvin saw being a businessman and family man as all the same, and excelled at both loving his family and succeeding in business. He owned several businesses including a commercial cleaning company, delicatessens, restaurants, and an office building.

Marvin devoted the last few years of his life caring for his the love of his life, his wife, of 68 years after she became afflicted with dementia. He raised his children to have similar unconditional love, to look out for each other, and to be kind and hard working.

Marvin Platt always stood up for what’s right, stayed abreast of current events, and tried to help solve problems. He is dearly missed by his four adult children, seven grandchildren, wife, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. COVID-19 took him too soon and too abruptly.
